Bernadette Lehmann has been a practicing massage therapist in the community, for more than 15 years. She graduated from the Muscular Therapy Institute in Cambridge, MA, with 1400 hours of training, and is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. In addition, she is Nationally Certified by the Board for Therapeutic Massage and Body Work. She was trained as a Physical Therapist Assistant and a Recreational Therapist for the state of Hawaii.
An avid tennis player and former tri-athlete, Bernadette understands sports training and injury. She works with the International Tennis Federation serving as massage therapist for various teams including Turkey and Croatia. She also serves as massage therapist for the National Women's Tennis teams as well as various New England tennis teams.
In order to stay current with new advances, techniques and to provide the best treatment, Bernadette has completed the following certification workshops:
Neuromuscular Therapy of the shoulder and lower leg
Cranio-Sacral Therapy
Extensive training in Active Isolated Stretching with Aaron Mattes
20-hour certification in Orthopedic Massage Training of the Lower Body
Certification in Kinesio Taping used for sport injuries, as well as post operatory rehabilitation.
